Our first idea for a film opening was to create a film opening of the thriller genre. For this idea we created a storyboard so our film opening would flow coherently.

Once we had done our filming we realised that the lighting was very dark so we had to start over again.

Film Opening Ideas


This is when we started our filming again and thought of the idea to do a Rom-com film opening. I developed a mood board to establish what type of ideas and movies we could use that could help our film opening reach the Rom-com criteria.



As you can see from the mood-board, pictures included where similar to a fun, 'girly' and 'chick-flick' genre. For example, High School Musical.
